Commencement of Part Time Programs

NO JAMB Examinations is required

This is to inform the General Public that the Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management is to commence Part-Time NID Programs for 2020/2021 academic session in the following courses:

1. National Innovation Diploma in Banking Operation.

Five (5) O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings in either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or any of their equivalent.

The credit passes should include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) of the following: Commerce, Principles of Accounting, Business Methods, Government, Office Practice, Geography, Statistics, Typewriting, or Shorthand.

2. National Innovation Diploma in Computer Software Enginering.

Five (5) O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings in either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or any of their equivalent.

The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other (2) subjects from the following: Chemistry, Geography, Biology/Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics, Computer Studies, Technical Drawings, or Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity.

3. National Innovation Diploma in Multimedia Technology.

Five (5) O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings in either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or any of their equivalent.

The subjects must include Mathematics, English and any other three (3) from the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandary, Technical Drawing, Computer Studies/ICT, Economics, History/Civic Education, Literature in English, Geography, Government, Commerce, Principles of Accounting, Marketing, Fine Art, Hausa, or Islamic Studies.

4. National Innovation Diploma in Networking and System Security.

Five (5) O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings in either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or any of their equivalent.

The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other two (2) subjects from the following: Chemistry, Geography, Biology/Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics, Computer Studies, Technical Drawings, or Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity.

Application Procedure

• Interested applicants are to visit JAMB office for JAMB Part-Time Registration at the cost of N4,200 (Part-Time registration and processing charges)
• Having registered with the JAMB, prospective candidates are required to make a non–refundable payment of N5,300.00 (Five thousand, three hundred Naira) only for screening directly into the following Bank Account:

• After payment, prospective candidates are visit the institute portal to apply and print-out their application form for screening exercise.

Screning Requirements

The following documents are required for the screening exercise:

• Application form
• Original Credentials
• Payment Evidence (Bank Teller)

Date and time for screening will be announced in due course.

Interested Candidates are to note that, no JAMB examination is required and flexible registration payment is also allowed.
