Katsina National Talent Hunt Project Collaboration


Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management is to collaborate with the officials of Katsina National Talent Hunt Project to provide Virtual platform for the upcoming interior and furniture expo in the State.

Similarly, the Institute is to provide training on E-marketing for the participants in addition to identify some ICT related Skills for the teaming youth of the State under the talent hunt project.

This was made known when the Chairman of Katsina National Talent Hunt, Faisal Jafar Rafindadi paid a visit to the Institute for a round table discussion with the Management of the Institute.

Alh. Faisal Jafar Rafindadi said that already the State Governor Alh. Aminu Bello Masari had approved the commencement of the interior and exterior furniture expo, as such the participants need to be fully equipped with ICT Skills, hence the need for collaboration with the Institute.

He added that the aim of the training is to expose the participants of the competition who are mainly local entrepreneurs into digital space market to enable them be recognized world over.

The Rector of the Institute, Dr. Babangida Abubakar Albaba described the initiative as a welcome development towards identifying talented youths with a view to encouraging them to properly showcase their skills and products to the international market.

Dr. Babangida Abubakar Albaba informed the gathering that the mandate of the Institute is not only to offer certificates but to also assist in exposing the teaming populace to the ICT world.

He assured the readiness of the Institute towards assisting the Talent Hunt Project in the areas of ICT and other related fields to make the competitions a huge success in the State.
